Long Life and Prosper!: Pasanggiri Mojang Jajaka Kabupaten Bogor 2014

Hello guys!

First of all, I want to apologise because this post will be all written in English..... If you ask me why, it’s probably because I feel more comfortable to write in English. That’s all haha.

Now let's get started!

My name is Nuria Isna Asyar but people call me Ina.

I was born in Bogor, 19 years ago, the exact date was on August 12th of 1997.

I was a Tourism Ambassador of Bogor Regency back in 2014, and I will tell you guys my experience in joining the competition, here.

Back then, in May of 2014, me and my parent were on the car heading to somewhere (I don't exactly remember our destination lol sorry), in the middle of our conversation, my mom suddenly told me to take a look at this HUGE banner of Mojang Jajaka that was placed on CF Space, at the road side. I looked at it, and ask my mom whats her intention by telling me to look at it.

“Oh that’s cool, Mojang Jajaka huh?”

“Yes, why don't you join it?”

“......are you for real, mom?”

“Yeah, I knew you like pageant. I mean we usually spent our girls night by watching the finale of Puteri or Miss Indonesia right”

"...oh well I do like watching gorgeous woman on stage being amazingly smart and talented-”

“Why don't you be one.”

“..........MOM ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I THINK YOUR DAUGHTER IS NOT CAPABLE ENOUGH TO BE ONE”

"Just stop talking and write down the date!"

That was the conversation me and my mom had that actually made me join the competition.

Time leap, the audition day finally came!

This was a selfie I took right before I joined the audition.

It was held on May 3rd of 2014.

I came to the venue with heart full of anxiety. WELL WHO WOULDN’T-

I mean like oh did y’all realise this is such a big deal! It is a Tourism Ambassador Competition for God’s sake.

Nervous? Yes I really was.

Almost peeing myself in front of the judge? No comment.

I could tell you this, I was the biggest competitor in that time. Physically.

I was 171 cm tall and 73 kg weight back then, don’t ask me how much I weight right now, I won’t answer, at least I was representable enough back then.

The audition went well, after the 1st round a.k.a giving your opinion in Focus Group Discussion and show off your talent a lil bit. I made it to the 2nd round, the interview.

There were 110 girls who joined the Teen category in total, then 60 girls were choosen to continue the next round.

The 2nd round also went quite good, because I answered all the questions like an ace. Nope just kidding though hahaha but for real, I knew I did good because the expressions the judges had on their faces are full of satisfaction.

2 days later, I was being hyped at school. My heart was beating so fast because I can’t wait until I got the text from the crew! I knew I made it to the finale, because I did good. I’m sorry if I’m being so smug right now haha.

Short explanation, I made it to the finale.

I joined the quarantine, it was for like 2 weeks or so.

We (as the contestant) got many classes as the time flew by. Such as Tourism Knowledge Class, Beauty Class, Sundanese Class, Public Speaking Class, Dancing Class, Outbond, Video Shooting, Talents Performing, Photography Session and so on.

I made so many friends!! Full of talents friends, to be exact. Everybody who joined the quarantine were so amazing, whether it’s the Mojangs or the Jajakas, all of them are so beautiful. They also smart and have good public speaking ability.

On May 24th, it was the Unjuk Kabisa day, a.k.a the Talents Performance Day.

THE GRAND FINALE DAY HAD CAMEEEEE!
